The Oregon Natural Desert Association (ONDA)is pleased to present the 25th Desert Conference on September 23rd -26th. This will mark the 25th Desert Conference held since 1978. This event will take place near Antelope, Oregon, in the heart of the John Day River basin.
WE NEED YOUR HELP AS A VOLUNTEER!! Regularly $250 per person, the conference is free for volunteers in exchange for 3-6 hours of kitchen help per day.

Through Project 185, River Guardian volunteers choose a mile segment of the Willamette to monitor on a monthly basis. From canoes, kayaks, backyards or a favorite walking trail, River Guardians look for excessive erosion, new clearings, illegal dumping, sewer overflows, and other problems that affect the habitat and water quality of the Willamette.
