The Wetlands Conservancy is recruiting volunteer "small group" leaders for an upcoming event where we will host three local third grade classes from Terra Linda Elementary (approximately 70 kiddos). This is a great opportunity learn about wetlands, enhancement efforts and to inspire our future generations, in hopes that they will gain an appreciation for the nature all around them. This event will take place at The Wetlands Conservancy's Cedar Mill Preserve in Beaverton, OR.

Solar Oregon is a nonprofit organization which provides education and community outreach encouraging Oregonians to choose solar energy. We serve as a connector and source of information for Oregon’s solar community. This internship will focus on strengthening partnerships for cross marketing purposes. The Intern will create new and comb news sources for existing stories relevant to Solar Oregon’s mission and post on the website with references sent to our e-newsletter & social networks. In addition, the Intern will develop relations with media sources and help draft press releases on Solar Oregon events & activities.
