Siskiyou Regional Education Project -- Siskiyou Project is the grassroots network dedicated to permanently protecting the globally outstanding forests, botanical hotspots and wild salmon streams of the Siskiyou Wild Rivers area. Since 1983, Siskiyou Project has engaged in effective grassroots organizing, environmental education, science and conservation advocacy in order to build an inspired & informed constituency for the wildlands and wild rivers of the region. Our long-term goal is to gain permanent protection for the Siskiyou Wild Rivers area through a combination of strategies including expanded Wilderness and Wild & Scenic River designations, and ecological restoration for the region.
