 Volunteer Day at Pascuzzi Pond

Volunteer/Wetland Enhancement Activity: volunteers will have the opportunity to learn some new plants and learn how to harvest and install native shrub cuttings for wetland enhancement. Our goal is to harvest and install 500 native vegetative cuttings.

Benefits to the Marsh: the vegetative cuttings we harvest and install will grow into full size shrubs providing shade over the ponds, nesting habitat for songbirds as well as plant diversity.

When: Wednesday, February 22nd from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.

Where: Meet in the Pacific Metal parking lot at 10700 SW Manhasset Drive, Tualatin, OR 97062.

Please RSVP by e-mailing jennifers@wetlandsconservancy.org or by calling Jennifer Wilson at 503.691.1394.

Tools, gloves and water will be provided. The Wetlands Conservancy also has a selection of boots available for volunteers. When you RSVP, let me know if you need a pair of boots.

I hope to see you out there!
