Tualatin Riverkeeper is looking for:
- Paddlers who own their own canoe or kayak
- Responsible, outgoing paddlers
- Volunteers who enjoy working with the public
You will learn:
- How to help introduce people to the Tualatin River
- Skills needed to be a Volunteer Canoe & Kayak Paddle Trip Leader
- Water safety and rescue techniques for paddle trips
- Answers to frequently asked questions about the Tualatin River watershed
Volunteers will:
- Complete TRK's Trip Leader Training (Sat., Mar. 3rd)
- Attend a CPR / First Aid safety class (dates TBD)
- Volunteer for at least two paddle trips during the 2012 season
