We are looking for individuals

Tualatin Riverkeeper is looking for:

  • Paddlers who own their own canoe or kayak
  • Responsible, outgoing paddlers
  • Volunteers who enjoy working with the public

You will learn:

  • How to help introduce people to the Tualatin River
  • Skills needed to be a Volunteer Canoe & Kayak Paddle Trip Leader
  • Water safety and rescue techniques for paddle trips
  • Answers to frequently asked questions about the Tualatin River watershed

Volunteers will:

  • Complete TRK's Trip Leader Training (Sat., Mar. 3rd)
  • Attend  a CPR / First Aid safety class (dates TBD)
  • Volunteer for at least two paddle trips during the 2012 season
