An easy-moderate loop with stunning views along the way. Starting out on flat ground, we will cross-country ski through towering orange old-growth Ponderosa pine and fir forests. We will then gradually climb along a ridge with continuous sweeping views east into the Mitchell Valley, and arrive at the top of a ridge with views looking west. We will break at the scenic overlook before dropping down to Walton Lake, where we will wrap along the edge of the lake and continue back to the trail head.

RSVP available after January 1st. Please be advised, hike date and location can change based on weather conditions.
