We are looking for individuals

Do you like talking to people and attending community festivals and events? If you want to get out there to educate people on "living green" and the fantastic work OEC does, this is your chance!

The Oregon Environmental Council is looking for outgoing, eco-happy volunteers to help staff our booth at various events in the Portland area. Volunteers help connect people to solutions and spread the word about OEC's programs.

Typically, these commitments are on weekends with morning and afternoon shifts of three to four hours maximum. Volunteers are encouraged to develop their own outreach style and good communication skills are a plus.

OEC has had a booth at a variety of events, from the Portland Auto Show and the Fix-It Fair, to the Portland International Women's Day. More recently, you may have spotted us at the Green Sprouts Organic Baby Festival and the Welcome the Rain event.

Does this sound like fun?

To become an Outreach Volunteer, contact Ashley at 503-222-1963 ext. 115, or e-mail volunteer at oeconline.org.
