Join Hells Canyon Preservation Council and the William Cusick chapter of the Native Plant Society of Oregon for a Walk, Watch and Weed event along the Grande Ronde River.  Bird identification by Cathy Nowak, wildflower and weed identification by Laurie Allen, native shrub and tree identification by Brian Kelly.

Wear sturdy shoes, and bring hat - binoculars - gloves - digging tools - garbage bags.  The canyon is shaded in the early morning, but gets hot around mid-morning.  We'll be walking along the old highway and then over rougher terrain.  Expect amazing wildflowers and a diversity of birds ranging from ospreys to warblers.
