You are cordially invited to celebrate Earth Day at Rooster Rock State Park on Saturday, April 20.

Mother Nature needs your help planting 400 trees of four different species. Their longevity will depend upon the care in which they are planted. You can help - we will work with you so we can be successful together. Our park tools are limited. Please if you can, bring your own garden planting tools, 5 gal. bucket, gloves, water and snack to suit. Families welcome.

The work party will meet west of the park headquarters in the parking lot at 9:00 am and conclude at 1:00 pm or at your convenience. Take I-84 east to Exit 25, then to parking lot close to the Columbia River.

Carpools will leave at 8:30 am from south entrance to Gateway Park & Ride bldg. More info from OR Parks and Rec's Glenn Littrell at 503-695-2261 ext. 231 or DaveBybee@oregon.sierraclub.org, 360-993-4247, OutingsNorthWest.org
