The Jane Goodall Institute and Earthjustice join EarthShareEarthShare is proud to add two environmental groups to our employee giving campaign. The Jane Goodall Institute advances the power of individuals to take informed and compassionate action to improve the environment for all living things. The Institute's objectives are to increase primate habitat conservation and awareness of human relationship between animals and the environment, expand non-invasive research programs on primates and promote activites that ensure the well-being of chimpanzees and other primates. The Institute's Roots & Shoots program engages tens of thousands of young people in 100 countries, including 90 sites throughout Oregon. Young people identify problems in their communities and take action through service projects and youth-led campaigns. Earthjustice is a non-profit public interest law firm dedicated to protecting the magnificent places, natural resources, and wildlife of this earth and to defending the right of all people to a healthy environment. Earthjustice provided legal representation at no cost to more than 700 clients. Recent court victory include the restoration of the natural flow of the Everglades and curtailing funding of rural dirty coal plants. Follow EarthShare on Twitter
